2013 Club Level - National Rules Accreditations Courses
conducted by Golf NSW
The Golf NSW Rules of Golf Accreditation Course is designed for those men and women who wish to improve their knowledge of the Rules of Golf and perhaps sit for Club Level Accreditation. Details of the Course follow:
- Seminars are for the duration of approximately three hours each – commence at 6.30p.m. – please allow time to arrive and be ready to start at this time
- Club Level Examination is now an on-line exam, those registering for the seminars will be forwarded an access code and password to enable them to sit the exam at their leisure – access to an electronic version of the Study Guide for the course, will also be provided
- The exam is 50 multiple choice questions on the Rules of Golf (3 hours allowed – as one sitting only)
- To pass the exam a minimum of 40 correct answers must be achieved with the assistance of a Rules Book
- To be invited to sit State Level Accreditation, currently a pass of 46 or better must be achieved at Club Level
- Successful Club Level candidates will receive a Certificate of Achievement, Golf Australia Rules Accredited Cap and periodical Rules Accreditation Newsletters
- Club Level Accreditation will allow your services to be utilised at Club and DGA level events
- The fee for the course, including examination and course study guide, is:
- Online booking @ $10.00 per person (including GST)
- Other bookings @ $15.00 per person, payable by cheque or credit card at the time of application.
- For those who pass, this fee includes listing on database of accredited Rules Officials. For others this fee includes one free attempt at the examination should you fail to pass your first attempt (contact Golf NSW for a new access code and password to allow second attempt)
- Applications should be submitted prior to the seminar commencing
Trainee Professionals required to sit this exam as part of their program must contact the PGA (NSW) for details and to make arrangements Note: Although the seminars are an important learning forum for people interested in understanding and applying the Rules of Golf, it is virtually impossible to cover all aspects of the Rules in such a short time. Therefore, all participants are requested to familiarise themselves with the format of the current Rules Booklet prior to attendance.
